come into new jersey -- crews, etc., into new jersey. we were able to get c-17's, c- 130's, military transport planes potentially to move assets, personnel, to speed up the process of getting power up and running as soon as possible. our first priority is water filtration plants and some other critical infrastructure. for that, we have emergency generators. we have a navy ship that has helicopters that can move assets around the state as well. we are going to be working with local officials to identify those critical infrastructure and how we can get what is needed as quickly as possible. a couple of other things we are concerned about, as power starts coming back on, we want to make sure people can also get to work. a lot folks in jersey work in new york come in the city, and in other places where transportation may be hobbled. one of the things i mentioned is the possibility of us using federal assets, and military assets as well as taking inventory of the country that can be brought in so we can help people get to their work. governor

whether it's central new jersey, southern new jersey, delaware, it doesn't matter at this point. this is such a huge storm with such a wide wind field extending from the center of the storm. right now we have gusts up to 30 miles per hour in atlantic city, new jersey. salisbury, maryland, is seeing wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour. the storm is still hundreds of miles out to sea. that's what's important to note here. we've seen all the power outages down across north carolina and the storm was still 300 miles out to sea. that's kind of an indicator of the damage that we'll see around here. you see the rain back through pittsburgh, that's that stalled front backing to the west. it's actually going to draw in this storm. even though it's not so much going to be a tropical system by the time it makes landfall somewhere in new jersey, it is going to be post tropical, almost a perfect hybrid between a tropical storm and a nor'easter. we don't really have a name for this type of storm. look at the tropical storm force winds extending from southern new england into eastern north carol

we saw this earlier this week, mike, in the new jersey case where the 15-year-old and 17-year-old were also charged with murder of another little girl. this is horrific. he had his whole life ahead of him. obviously this other crime happened in may. here we are, in october. there was a lot going on between that time. maybe he possibly could have targeted other victims in the area. maybe there were other things that happened. i do encourage people if they do remember something that sort of stood out to them in their brain or maybe something at the time seemed normal but now it seems a little abnormal, reach out to the westminster police and give them your information. there could be things to help investigators sort of tie in that timeline and start to close things down and figure out why the heck did something like this happen? why was this little girl abducted and why was she murdered and dismembered and not intact? now a family is just -- they're grieving. now here we are, talking about it. >> in court, wearing jessica's favorite color, purple. mom with a purple ribbon in her hair. s

joining us from clayton, new jersey is steve keeley. good morning. >> reporter: other children this victim's age are among those stopping by this morning to add to all the candles, flowers and balloons here in the backyard of what many see is house of horrors. the one where two teenage brothers lives now charged with killing 12-year-old autumn pascali and dumping into recycle barrel. it was the mother of the boys who first went to the authorities leading to the break in this case. seeing something suspicious, one of her sons had posted on a facebook page and called investigators who found the body after searching the outside of the house. then the search warrant found inside the house the bicycle killed for the little bike she was last seen riding from her house on saturday afternoon. the mother turned in her 15 and 17-year-old sons yesterday. this community will follow their case to the courts. they will likely be charged with adult charges in the coming weeks but first going to the little girl's funeral in the coming days. >> gretchen
